Take the ferry and drive. It's approx 8 hours drive to Peyrasse from Saint Malo or Caen which are our preferred routes - we take the overnight ferry to France from Portsmouth.

Follow the French motorways if you want a speedy, simple journey, or follow the old Roman N roads if you'd prefer to take things slowly, break the journey up with an overnight stay somewhere and enjoy the scenery.​​

Bergerac Airport is a short 20 mins drive from Peyrasse.  Summer flights from Stansted, Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, East Midlands, Bournemouth, (Ryanair)
Leeds Bradford (Jet2) and London City (BA)

 

You can fly from many UK cities to Bordeaux Airport (1 hr 30mins away) all year around. Hire a car from either airport or take a train to Marmande Station for the last leg of your journey.​

The nearest train station to Peyrasse is in Marmande (35 mins drive).

​To pick up a train to Marmande from Bordeaux Airport you need to take the Billi Shuttle Bus from the airport to Bordeaux St Jean Train station.

There are plenty of good car hire facilities at Bergerac and Bordeaux Airports or car hire also at Marmande Train Station.
